Hey I'm Elena - an illustrator and storyteller.
I craft concepts, stories and turn them into visually simple and strong meaningful illustrations. I graduated from NABA in Milan with a Bachelor's in Design and with a strong interest in history of the visuals as my main drive. When I am not illustrating I enjoy sketching with new technics or tools. Exercising and running are main activities of my daily life, as well as enjoying a home made dish. 
I like to express myself through visual media, apart from illustrating I love photography. I think the regular practice of it has developed a better observant of me. 
My favorite topics to illustrate are things that involve different sizes of one color shape mixed with different brushes widths, characters who tell the viewer something about themselves you cannot see on the frame or something about the imaginative context they are at. 'Zooms' collections are my obsession as well.. this is zooming on daily things I get to see at the streets, capturing this by eye and then transforming it into moments than then become part of a bigger illustrated scene.
I currently live in Mexico City, I've worked with different companies from Mexico, Spain, Netherlands, USA, England, Austria, Israel to Australia and others. These projects have covered editorial, branding, campaigns and websites.
